To create a lyric video for Nevaeh Jolie's new song too much..
The client loves video games and things that are "girly" and wanted a retro videogame style and feel.
I did a bunch of research on old video games and tried to take characteristics and properties from old video games to make this feel like a real gaming experience. I was heavily influenced by the cult classic Invaders. I liked how simple the games mechanics were and wanted to incorporate that. The font choice was also chosen to reflect the retro gaming style.
Drawing inspiration from makeup color palettes allowed me to create a "girly" look and feel. Additionally, incorporating relevant items, such as the lipstick gun, further enhanced this design approach.
